Yowza! I love Chloe Narcisse! i had the chance to test this fragrance yesterday but on a strip of paper. 20 years later I smelled a familiar scent. It's very sweet (cotton candy, honey), with almost aseptic undertones (a hospital - cresols are natural components of narcisse/daffodil essential oil) green, "rainy" fragrance, intoxicating, mesmerizing, narcotic, somnolent, sweet but poisonous, it smells "80-ties" but without being grannyish, very introvertic, with some dark depth, depressive, with an unbelievable lasting power. Narcissus and carnation, gardenia and spices are the predominant notes on me. It's still a narcissus because that's how it ends up but it's elaborately floral with roses, jasmine, violets, orange blossom, marigold, and carnation. Um perfume Chloé é um perfume feminino e suave, que transmite leveza e luminosidade. Its very difficult to explain what it actually is, its at the same time heavy-ish but still sweet, fresh, floral. They just don't make them like this anymore. I've sometimes found florals to be a little fresh for me, a little too cool, but this one is huge on warmth. Amazingly this inexpensive perfume actually has the gorgeous smell of narcissus, which many a more expensive perfume does not. Give it a chance to literally BLOOOOM on your skin. Narcisse manages to combine a bright world of sun-warmed flowers with deep dusk and shadow. Later on it surprises me by resembling Estee Lauder's Beautiful. This is a high quality perfume with a very affordable price. Another blind buy, and this one blew me away. Narcisse perfume by Chloe is a floral fragrance with scents of narcissus, vanilla, rose, jasmine and orange blossom. This is the first time carnation doesn't bothers me in a fragrance. I wear this for myself to feel beautiful and to match up with some of my cocktail dresses and gowns. Cedar, sandalwood, vanilla and musk are in the base. Chloe Narcisse is the liquid gold equivalent to a swooning harp flourish-decadent, lush, a bit over the top. Gutsy floral which I’ve always loved. This is a woman's perfume. The notes say it's a summer scent, but in reality, it's a very thick, heavy, sweet, syrupy fragrance. This smells AMAZING in cold weather❤️, *sniff sniff* "you smell good" *sniff sniff sniff* "you smell really good what is it?". It is enjoyment walking along the streets, enjoying yourself and breath it from your body, feel yourself confident, happy and beautiful. Spicy peaches and cloves good right from the opening and lasts and lasts! This beauty was very popular in the early 90's, roughly between 1993 and 1995. You've lasted all day, and you just get better the longer you're on my skin! I didn't know about the original Chloe or anything like that. I definitely detect the other florals, specifically gardenia. I just know after many hours it can smell wonderful and better. It is strong and lasts a while. But it doesn't quite get there and turns fruity instead. Perhaps because she's ultimately a tad hard to describe? I’ve hung on to it mostly because of the cute bottle. To me it seems like it is just part of the spice profile. Chloe Narcisse is one of the most beautiful Oriental floral fragrances I wore in the 1990s. I tried it on a tester card before purchasing & the girl in the store wasn't a fan lol. This scent has something so nostalgic about it, I must have smelled it on many women when i was a child in the 90's. Even though it is not her creation, if you like Sun Moon Stars, Eternity, Tresor or Diamonds and Rubies, you'll totally love this fragrance. If I’m going to be in an environment in which sillage would be frowned upon, I put one spray on a Q-tip and dab that on my pulse points. Now I understand that it was a scent that emulated a femininity that I knew I had in me, but had not yet found as a young teenage girl. Even though I remembered that I had not used it that much. I'm not a floral lover, but this is quite extraordinary. It smells dated, yes, but smells so good and is unique enough that you'll have people asking you what you're wearing regardless. It was the first perfume I owned. Or was it just a way of saying they themselves liked the smell? I’d never been tempted to try it, largely because of the name - I’ve never thought narcissus have a particularly nice smell. Every time I wear this scent, I smell a floral spicy version of fruit cocktail. I resent the term old women perfumes since I am older yet understand why that is said. I tested it recently and WOW! Sadly folks this beauty has been destroyed by reformulation. The first blast is heady and spicy-sweet. I've bought a few bottles in the past. This was one of my favorites!
